Very Good
This Flash actually features more animation than the show does. Very well done. The lip synching in particular is excellent.

OMG THIS IS TEH ROXXOR11!!1!1!1
What could make me babble like a 13 year old Sony fanboy? Nothing other than a new episode of Strategy Guide, probably one of my favorite series here on NG. Take old-school gaming goodness, mix in great visuals, add a dash of humor, and you have a sickly entertaining piece of gaming nostalgia. There's honestly nothing bad that I can say about this movie. Bravo, well done, kudos, and all that good stuff.
Thanks for the kind words! Back when I started the series, I wasn't sure if people would identify with my love for old games. Apparently there was never anything to worry about. I'll keep making them as long as people keep liking them. :)
Uhh...
Honestly, that was a very bad movie, and I'm not the type to be so hyper-critical. For one, if you're going to do a sprite movie, then you should really come with something great, since so many have already been done, and some have been really excellent. Also, did you intend for the viewer to be able to see off of the stage, because you can see Sonic in his spinning form just hanging out at the left side of the screen after he jumps back to try to save Mario. And you need to compress that music. No way in hell should that movie have been nearly 2 MB. But anyways, I really have nothing positive to say about this movie. I just hope that you did it quickly, cause I would feel bad had you spent weeks crafting this thing.
Meh.
Some people will find this absolutely hilarious, but I just find it sort of dull. It seems like too much humor nowadays is just driven by saying any random shit you can come up with and calling it a day, and this movie is indicative of that to me. It's not bad, and like I said, if that's your kind of humor, then you'll probably love it, but for me, it's no different than 8 billion other seemingly irreverent Flash cartoons, web comics, web sites etc.
Unoriginal.
The RIAAs whole Secret Police treatment of kids who download music is a good idea for parody, but you did absolutely nothing original or interesting with it. So, the kid gets some burned CDs for free from some shady back alley guy and then gets caught by the RIAA. For one, this misses the mark simply because buying burned CDs would put you in no danger of being caught by the RIAA, since they work online and are after usernames and IP adresses. I know this is a parody, and in turn artistic liscense is allowed, but you need to have some relation to and understanding of your topic to make insightful comedy. Second, the fact that they surround and shoot him...where's the biting social commentary in this. It's so blunt and uncreative. It doesn't say anything beyond "RIAA are bad"! It doesn't give any argument or any reasoning. This is as much mindless propoganda as anything that they release. I'm in no way defending the RIAA, but if you're going to create a movie like this, start with a unique message and then conceive an insightful way to get it across. Don't deliver a watered down version of what's been said 8 billion times already.
I don't think you understand that I am joking on the message that the RIAA is putting across and how they have rediculous consequences for little kids who download songs off the internet. I don't think you understand the term "EXAGGERATION"
That was quality stuff.
Now granted, there was no actual animation to speak of, but the uber-slick presentation more than made up for it. As for the actual artwork, it seems as though you already have some talented artists working with you. And it's a clever idea to create a Flash movie promoting a new website. This movie right off the bat gives the impression that your upcoming site will be of a very high quality. Nice job, and good luck.
Pretty Good.
This series could have potential. It's aparent that you're willing to put the time and effort needed to make a good Flash into these movies, so I look foward to seeing how this series turns out.
Just to note, though, some of the motion tweened animations in the movie were pretty stiff, ao I would suggest adding a few more layers to create more points of articulation and smoother movement. The scenes where Venom and Scorpion were running were a bit stiff.
I've been humming that theme song all week!
Why must these damn LoL cartoons be so entertaining? I like the fact that you've begun to diversify the plots a bit, so as to keep things from becoming too monotonous, but have still retained the basic ideas that make the movies so funny. I think that sometime soon you should expand the themesong and make a LoL music video. It would be comedy gold!!
Mmm, it's alright.
Pretty good. The moment I see a stick figure I usually begin convulsing, but this movie was pretty entertaining. The graphics and animation were crude, but the fact that the music was so well integrated into the action put this movie above average for me. I think that you have a talent for pacing and presentation, so if you could just upgrade the quality of the visuals, you could make some impressive stuff.
And just to note, I probably would've given you an 8 had it not been for the inclusion of that damn "Peanut Butter Jelly" song. The combination of it and the stick men was just to much unoriginality for a human being to take.
yeah i know what you mean. you either love it or hate it! :P
Very Good.
This is very impressive as a portfolio, and it's aparent that you're a person with a great balance between artistic ability and Flash skills. It would've been nice to have more actual animation as opposed to primarily just transitions, but the aesthetic appeal of your images were enough to make up for this fact. You have a very distinct sense of style, and I would love to see you do a full blown movie or series. You've got the talent, now give us an opportunity to appreciate it.
