Good. Entertaining
A pretty solid movie. It was nice to see some original character designs, even though they were a bit cliched, and I like the fact that you seem to be setting up an interesting story instead of just making a one-shot deal. The animation however was less than phenomenal. It would've been nice to see more tweened animation instead of the primarily static character drawings that made up the bulk of the movie, but I understand that it's very time consuming to do so.
I don't think that the music was very well integrated into the movie. It started off as soft background sound, then stopped, then became hard rock during the battle, then stopped, then became more rock at the finale, then stopped. If you were able to keep music going continually throughout the movie it might fit better. And the "hard" music coming in during combat was almost comical. Try to vary it and not be so predictable.
As for the voice acting, I do have to say that it took away from the movie some. Beyond just the poor quality, the voices didn't seem to fit their characters much. The main character (Ruby was it?) was acted well enough, but the rest of the cast dragged the movie down. I realize that it's probably just your friends helping you do the voices, but you still hve to consider what impact they'll have on how the movie plays out.
Overall, though, it was good. I'd like to see shorter, prettier, better sounding instalments of this series continue to be made by you, since I think that AO shows lots of potential.
